I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I started drawing and painting at age six.
While attending Gonzales High School , I entered a state competitive art contest
and placed second to receive a scholarship to attend Southwest Texas State
University. Graduating from SWTSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Commercial Art.
Living in the gateway to the beautiful hill country, San Marcos , Texas and having two
children, many ideas and illustration themes come from observing them. Also, being
from a small town, where growing up is a simple pleasure, lends special memorie
to each of the prints and drawings. Hence, I have captured some of those
special moments.
With a variety of logos around the State, my most successful creation is the
recent logo change for the City of Austin Electric Utility, now called
"Austin Energy."
